 As it says in Acts 2:42, “And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.” That’s our heart as a church, to be a community devoted to God’s Word, to one another, and to living out the gospel in every area of life.

Some Dates You Might Want to Note

Citizens Youth in the Park!
Friday May 15, 6:30PM
Weather permitting, we are planning to meet at Jackie Parker Park for an evening together outdoors. We will keep all youth parents updated throughout the week via text with any changes or confirmations regarding location.
Students grades 7-12 can expect games, fellowship, a study through 1 Samuel, and snacks together.
If this is your student’s first time attending, please make sure to register them beforehand so we can keep you informed on whether we’ll be meeting at the park or at the church. If the weather does not cooperate, we will meet at the church as usual.

Children’s Ministry Information Session
Sunday May 17, 2026 after Church
Little Citizens invites parents and young adults to come learn about what God is doing in our children’s minsitry & how to best support our kids through serving. This meeting will take place on Sunday May 17, 2026 after church in the Tabernacle. We hope you will prayerfully consider getting involved to build into the next generation.

Church In The Park
Sunday May 24, at 10:30
We’ll be having Church in the Park on Sunday, May 24 at 10:30 a.m. at Jackie Parker Park, meeting in the first field to the right as you pull in. We’ll have flags out to help you find us!
Bring blankets or chairs to sit on, and come ready to eat and play as we’ll be having a BBQ and games together.

VBS 2026 - SCAR FORCE Registration's Open
Registration's open now and closes June 28th.
We are also looking for volunteers to help make VBS a success! The Children's Ministry is seeking:
Two male actors and one female lead who have a heart to share the Gospel through skits and have attended Citizens Church for 6 months or more (ability to commit to practices and VBS dates required)
Audio/visual and stage decoration volunteers

Worship through giving. As Scripture reminds us: “Each one must give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.”  2 Corinthians 9:7. Your generosity helps advance the mission of God in His Church. Tuesday May 12, 7:00PM
Join us every Tuesday evening at 7:00pm for prayer in the prayer room. All welcome. The prayer meeting is always the smallest attended gathering at any church. Let's defy that statistic. Come. Pray.
